This copper ring was designed and carefully made in Peguche, Otavalo, Ecuador by Kichwa artist Pedro Maldonado.
The patterns on the ring represent the environment which determines our life on Earth. There are many different elements within this environment that shape our personalities and the relations that we create, such as family, land, and light. We are all interconnected through and influenced by these forces. This ring represents the connection that we have with all of the elements in our environment, the connection that we have to each other, and the importance of each individual within the pattern of life.
