Join us for a beading workshop with Joy Rogers from Karahkwa Jewelry!
In this workshop, we will go over how to bead fringe earrings and create mini festive fringe style earrings on triangle frames. Perfect for everyday wear or to complete a holiday look.
Location: Pacha Arts Holiday Pop-Up - 789 Dundas St. W.
Date and Time: Wednesday, Dec, 4 6PM-8PM
Joy is a member of Six Nations of the Grand River, Seneca with Haudenosaunee and Chippewa ancestry on her maternal side. She has been beading for 4 years now with most of what she has learned being from her mom, Lori-Ann Rogers (né Peters), who was a beader while Joy was growing up. Her beadwork blends traditional and contemporary Indigenous styles and is largely inspired by Mother Earth.
