Collection: Uchu Jewellery Collection

Made by Pedro Maldonado (Kichwa), inspired by a traditional food staple: the chili pepper. Using treated copper, bronze, and silver, Pedro delicately captures the essence of chili (or uchi), into one of a kind pieces. 

Kichwa foods don't incorporate large amounts of chili within the dish itself, but is served separately as a sauce known as AJI (pronounced ah-hee). Each person adds in as much aji as they wish to their own plate. 

Each of these jewellery pieces are created with the intention of bringing that little spark in your day
