This unique backpack is constructed with the highest grade materials, including awayo textile and leather. Awayo is traditionally an alpaca-based fabric spun and woven with hand looms to ensure intricate detailing. In the Peruvian Andes, women utilize awayos as shawls for protection from the cold breeze and frigid mountain temperatures.
The design of these fabrics are a result of a lifetime of relearning a love for community, a love for the uplifting of all indigenous communities, whether you are from the north, south, east or west.
These bags are meant to be worn proudly by all.
