These earrings are deeply inspired by Renata Flores, a Quechua singer from Peru, whose work honours Quechua language and culture. Her work has helped create and advance musical genres such as Rap Andino and Inka Trap, becoming an important person in the representation of urban Indigenous Andean youth around the world.
Designed by Samay Arcentales Cajas (Kichwa), the Renata earrings were made thinking about the artist's aesthetic, taking traditional geometries into Indigenous futurist fashion. They are meant to empower the wearer, and feel pride within their roots.
