These Paypura Earrings embody the concept of two dualities coming together by combining two materials - acrylic and cedar (a medicine across many communities). They are designed by Samay, who is inspired by her ancestry, Andean textiles, and the Indigiqueer and 2 Spirit communities she is a part of.
These earrings integrate both modern and traditional styles, taking geometries from weavings into contemporary Indigenous fashion.
