The horn was carefully cut, sanded and inlaid with semi precious stone. Kuntur means condor in Kichwa. It is one of the most sacred Andean birds, representing strength and our connection with pachakamak (sky/the above/creator).
This product was carefully made in Peguche, Otavalo, Ecuador by self taught Kichwa artist Pedro Maldonado.
