The fabric used in these masks are made in the homelands of the Pacha Arts Family.
Andean textiles have developed over centuries, keeping us warm in the cool climates of the high altitudes. Our symmetrical patterns have story and meaning. Through them we can trace the passing of time as newer designs and influences from outside our territories become incorporated.
We are proud to offer something that comes directly from indigenous hands, from the fabric, to the design, to the making. These masks therefore carry history, meaning, and love for our culture. This is what helps us carry on through the hardships we are all now facing. We hope this labour of love finds its way to support you as well!
