Fun fact: One of the places with greatest abundance of Spondylus is in Ecuador! Spondylus has been used by different indigenous groups across the americas, travelling for miles and miles.
The use of Spondylus within indigenous fashion proves that our trading networks have existed for hundreds and hundreds of years.
You can find it in tones of yellow, orange, red, and even a deep purple.
